Sold! To Sky Pony Press!

This month’s blog post was going to be all about NaNoWriMo, for it’s once again that time of year when writers all over the world pick up their pens or sit in front of their computer keyboards and attempt to write 50,000 words in just 30 days. We’d like to wish all those writers taking part in NaNoWriMo this year the very best of luck. We hope you enjoy the experience!

But here at Broadland Literary, we have some long-awaited news to share, and it’s very exciting news indeed for one author:

Autumn Updates

It’s hard to believe it’s already the 1st of October, which means autumn has well and truly arrived! We’ve had an incredibly busy year so far, working with our wonderful authors to develop and promote their writing projects. Over the course of the year, we’ve had the privilege of seeing our authors grow in confidence and their writing really flourish. We’ve seen manuscripts blossom, and ideas take solid form. We’ve also received some rather exciting news.

In a previous blog post, we talked about the importance of having patience, and patience is certainly something we’ve had to demonstrate this year, in various aspects of our work. Most notably, we’ve been waiting for some time now to share that aforementioned exciting news, though the signs are good we’ll be able to do so soon.

On a similar note, we’d like to ask any authors hoping to submit their work to us to please continue to be patient. We’d been hoping to open our submissions mailbox again in September, but we’ve been forced to reassess this date due to our existing workload and the commitments we’ve made to our current authors. We do still hope to open our mailbox again in the near future, most likely in the new year now, so please bear us in mind for your future submissions. But in the meantime, we’d like to wish you all the very best with finding the right agent for your work!
